Beat Box Police started in 2007 with the line up of Declan Dowling, Dan Tehesh, Rhyan Murphy and Micko McCormack. After amassing a huge cult following playing gigs left, right and center including the FUTURE SOUNDS 2007, they decided to split up. Now, making their comeback with a slight line up change of Dan Tehesh out and bassist Conor Mullarkey in, Beat Box Police are set to headline Future Sounds and show Ireland that they are not finished rocking yet!

Loveless Lemon were formed in that fateful Summer of 07 when friends Brendan Riordan, Cormac McAuliffe and Daniel O' Connell decided to do something with their lives, gathering once a week with a view to jamming, writing and having good, semi-clean fun. After several shake-ups in the band's line-up, the band decided on synth player Colm "folex" Foley and singer Aisling Hennessy. Since then the band have gigged regularly, recorded (kinda) and have been described as "the unfortunate result of a threesome between Blondie and MGMT". If you have a problem - and if you can find them - maybe you can hire: Loveless Lemon.

Chemical Addiction

Originally formed as a four-piece Rock band, back in 2005, Kilkenny-based Grunger’s, Chemical Addiction, have undergone several line-up changes over the band’s short existence.
But after recently downsizing to a three-piece, Uncle and Nephew combination Ben Keating and Dan Pearson finally found their sound with energetic stickman Ciaran “Ciwi” Mc Carthy completing the trio.
Influenced by bands such as Alice In Chains, Silverchair, Stone Temple Pilots, Helmet and Kilkenny’s own Kerbdog (whom they have been handpicked to support twice). Chemical Addiction have developed their own style of melodic rock, filled with fast-paced raw energy, catchy hooks and melodic harmonies.
Their debut offering "The Brian Jones E.P" is set for release this summer. Popular online music community KilkennyMusic.com have tipped Chemical Addiction as “a band to watch out for in 2008”.

The Offnotes

"If Jim Morrison had lived on and met Damien Dempsey in around 2004 and they fell madly in love, their lovechild (disturbing as that is) would be called "THE OFFNOTES", such is the marriage of sounds on show with this promising Irish outfit. Still in their infancy The Offnotes offer up an alternative folk rock sound that brings you from underground anthemic rock to heartfelt acoustic ballads. John, Dan, Tom and Kraig are fast becoming one of Dublin's 'ones to watch' with gigs every other day lately! As their fanbase grows, Summer 2009 see's them taking on some of the bigger established venues around. For me the masterstroke is the mixed vocals. From John's powerhouse vocal delivery you feel a natural balance with such warmth in tone there seems no boundaries that can hold it to Dan's mesmerizing vocal where you really believe the end of the world could be tomorrow with every syllable. ¤And thus a classic songwriting partnership is born.¤ This to me, sets them apart from the average band doing the rounds. This coupled with John's ability to tear the fretboard to pieces without warning and the almost progressive rock rythm section just begs the question....How can they fail? Answer: Yoko"
