Future Sounds is Irelands FIRST EVER all-day, all-ages music festival to be run by a youth group, namely Portlaoise's APA. It features local bands (and not so local bands), solo artists and anyone else good enough to play!

It all began in 2007 at Charleville Castle in Tullamore. Bands included Inside Job, Inium, Jekyl, Beat Box Police, Tranzend, Rage In The Head and tons others.

After that, it moved to Portlaoise, in the C.B.S. field. Bands included some from the '07 gig, such as Jekyl and Indium,and many newcomers such as No Punk Intended, The Gandhis, James O'Connor and loads others.

Future sounds 09...it's happening. The bands are picked, the tickets are available and all that's missing is YOU!
